Around Thanksgiving Danna, Steph and I had to set up a booth at the Indie Market, a market for locally made craft items. We all work at Elsewhere Artist Collective, which has a 'nothing for sale' policy central to our program there, so we were confronted with a dilemma in that this was a sales venue and we had no wares. What we settled on was a "Hand Turkey Drawing Seminar" where for $50 bucks we would teach one how to draw a hand turkey, but the materials were there for those experienced hands to make one for free. It was a smash success. The best part of the whole evening was yelling "HAND TURKEYS!" to people passing by on the street.
